Look What I Found!

Look What I Found!
I was at Target today and notice a sign up by the checkouts. It said that Target stores will be having a  Reading Across America Day on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 9-11am.  It's in honor of Dr. Seuss

So when I got home I logged on to Target website and found out more information about it.  This is what I found out.

  • Special reading of Oh, The Places You'll Go!
  • Free Dr. Seuss-inspired games and activities
  • Exclusive Dr. Seuss giveaways
There is also free Dr. Seuss printable activities on the website too!

Please check your local store, while your on their website and make sure they are participating in this event too.

I know a couple weeks ago, Kohl's had Dr. Seuss books and stuffed animals for $5. One of them was the book: Oh, The Places You'll Go!  I don't know if they are still there or not.
  • Target has their $1 and $2.50 section for 50% off their blue dots.  There is also Easter stuff out now in these sections too.
  • For those into Bakugan, Target has some of their toys clearanced down to around $2.  These could be great Easter basket gifts or birthday gifts.
  • Target's TV's are getting marked down because they are getting in their new model TV's in the next two months.  They said all but one TV will be gone by May and new ones will take their place.  It's a great time to get a new TV for less money.  If they only have the floor models left, they will usually give an extra 10% off the marked down price.
  • You can now sign up for Target mobile text alert for coupons, deals and weekly ad reminders.  Receive coupons once a month.  A bar code will show up on your phone and your cashier can just scan your phone and presto your coupon has been added.  Your first coupon will arrive within 2 weeks.  They even have an Iphone App too on this site.  App available on itunes app store or text "APP" to 827438 (TARGET) to receive a download link.  Daily Deals coming soon for Iphone, they are one day deals only and free shipping.  Check out site for more details.  Right now you can sign up for daily deals for email, text, rss and twitter on http://dailydeals.target.com/.  If you sign up for text messages for daily deals you will a message every day.  So, be careful if you are on limited text message package.
  • Tide has added febreze freshness sport to their product.  Smells great!  www.tide.com has a $1 off coupon for febreze freshness sport, plus this could go for the P & G product offer below.  They have a couple contests to enter on their site too. Plus a $3 off coupon for Tide Stain Release.  If you sign up for their newsletters they will send you more coupons.
  • Purchase $50 in P & G Products by April 15, 2010, mail in your original cash register receipts, with form and they will mail you a $100 coupon book.
  • AMP Energy Overdrive Turbo boost 4 can pack has a free DVD inside: It's a Nascar 6 Days To Race Day.
  • For those who have an IPOD Touch or IPOD phone, the following Game Apps are great for those with children ages 3-6, of course I like the first 4:
  1. BubbleWrap
  2. Sneezies
  3. Glow Doodle
