Library-Book Bag
Buy a canvas bag from a craft store. I know Hobby Lobby has them. And buy paint pens and/or paint, stamps, puff paint. However your child wants to decorate their bags.
You can have them put their first name on the bag and draw designs and pictures. They will love having their own library bag. They can put (Child's name) Library Books on their bag too, if they want. You could even put iron-ons on their bag too. Find pictures of their favorite books, make them smaller, print them out on special iron-on paper and iron them on their bag.
Then when they go to the library they can get as many books as their bag can hold and no more. When they get a book out of their bag, they have to make sure the books goes right back in their bag when they are done. This is a great way to keep from misplacing books.
