Crazy Car Wash!!!!!
For my very first Funny Friday blog I will tell you all about the Crazy Car Wash!!!!!
It was in the middle of winter last year and we were heading to my sister Kristy's house.
We left our house and stopped at a gas station where we got gas for our car. My husband, John, was saying that he wanted to wash the car. I told him I didn't think this was such a good idea since it was so cold out, but he wanted one anyway. So, after getting gas, we headed next door to their car wash.
He punched in the code to get the car wash to start. The car wash door opened to let us come in. After getting into the car wash, the door shut. The exit door was also closed.
The wash had started and everything was going great, until, the wax cycle. The car was covered with rainbow colored bubbles and then all of a sudden the car wash stopped!!!!
We sat there looking at each and starting laughing. Nothing was working and both doors were closed. We were stuck in the Car Wash.
We looked around for the phone number in the car wash and on the gas station receipt. Nothing! We just kept laughing. We called John's mom and told her what had happened to see if she could find the phone number and she just said "Your what!" and started laughing. She couldn't find the phone number either.
We decided to look up the gas station phone number on our cell phones. We finally found the phone number and John called their number and told someone what had happened. We could hear nothing but laughing, then finally someone said we will send someone over.
After talking to the gas station, my sister Kristy called and wondered what had happened to us. I just started laughing so hard, it was hard to tell her. She just said "Your What!" and started laughing uncontrollably.
While on the phone with her, all of a sudden the car wash started. It started all over again, only this time the machine stopped when we had tons of bubbles all over our car again. Everyone just kept laughing and laughing. The doors still didn't open.
Finally, after a few minutes the exit door opened and we drove out, with a car full of bubbles. We put our window down to talk to the young man who let us out. He couldn't stop laughing and said he was so sorry. He said to stop at the gas station and they would give us something for being stuck in the car wash.
The bubbles were now frozen to our car. We drove around to the self cleaning car wash to get our bubbles off. Kristy was laughing so hard, she had to call Jaycie and tell her what had happened. When Kristy called Jaycie, she was laughing so hard Jaycie just said, "Now what did Chanin Do?"
After rinsing off all the bubbles, we stopped by the gas station. John went in and they were still laughing at us. He told them they needed to put their phone number somewhere and explained what had happened. After a couple minutes, John came out laughing. I asked him what did they give us? He said you'll never guess and said "5 Free Car Washes!" And all we could do was laugh some more.
The last thing John said about it was, "Well, I can now check that off my checklist of things that I never want to do again!!"
All in all, we were stuck in the car wash for 45 minutes!!!
