Tuesday Tips

Tuesday Tips Will Be Helpful Information For You And/Or Your Child

Grocery Shopping:
  1. Go through the shopping ads or expired coupons and try to find all the items you need and cut them out.
  2. Glue the items onto paper and write what they are under the pictures.
  3. When you go shopping take those papers with and hand them to your child.
  4. Tell them that you need those items on those pages and see if they can help you find them.
  5. This should make it easier to shop with your child, they feel that they have helped out and this makes them happy.
  6. Instead of gluing them to paper you can insert the pictures into plastic sheets so you can reuse it later. If you want you can laminate them too.
  7. Or, glue them onto index cards, punch a hole in the upper corners, and place metal rings through the holes to hold them all together. Then, when you go shopping next time you can just use the cards you need.  Store the others in an index card box.
  8. You may want to save some of the ads so you have pictures for later use.
