  4. Then cut out the circle just a little bit by the sticks.
  5. Then attach the wheel onto the box with a brad through the middle of the wheel to box.  Should be able to move wheel.  If the wheel is too heavy and falling over, add weight to the box.

  • Hamster Maze: Cardboard Box Lid or cardboard, Bendable straws, glue, marble, hole puncher
  1. Cut pieces of bendable straws up and glue them onto the cardboard to make the maze.  You can make the maze anyway you want.  You can draw the maze onto the cardboard first if you want with lines so that you know what it will look like.  If you want, you can place the straws down before you glue to see what it look likes.
  2. Make sure you punch a hole at the end of the maze for the marble to fall into.

Attach a picture of a hamster to the end of a  pipe cleaner by making a small circle at the end of the pipe cleaner and attaching the hamster with a brad.  Then slide the pipe cleaner into a straw.  Then secure the end by twisting the pipe cleaner a little.  The straw makes it easier to spin it.
