Veterans Day! November 11, 2009

Make Sure To Thank A Veteran on Veteran's Day!

My incredible brother, Garrett, who is serving in Iraq

I want to thank all those who have and who are still serving our country.

There are a couple places thanking veterans by giving them meals or discounts on Veteran's Day.

Accepted identification includes U.S Uniform Services ID card, U.S. Services Retired ID card, current Leave and Earnings Statement, a photograph in uniform, wearing a uniform and a citation or commendation.

  • Hy-Vee Store:  Free breakfast during regular breakfast hours from 7am-11am
  • Krispy Kreme:  Free Donuts
  • Outback Steakhouse:  Free Bloomin' Onion and Drink
  • Denny's: Free Grand Slam and some offering 20% discount off entire meal.
